Changes in opening hours
The unit is closed from Friday to Monday, April 18, 2025 - April 21, 2025, and on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
On Thursday, April 17, 2025 and on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 the laboratory is open according to Friday's opening hours.
In the Parikkala laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments.
- For urgent sampling, you do not need to book an appointment.
- We accept referrals from private physicians.
- Our laboratory is located at the Parikkala Wellbeing Center, close to Parikkala railway station and the Värisilmä Parikkala store.
- The building can be identified by its light grayish color and green window frames.
- The hill leading to the main entrance is quite steep.
- The Wellbeing Center's doors open electronically and the ramp to the entrance is asphalted.

- The nearest bus stop can be found at Parikkala railway station.

Parking and pick-up and drop-off traffic
- The parking lot is located down the hill from the main entrance of the Parikkala Wellbeing Center.
- If a customer has an assistant or a driver with them, the car can be driven all the way to the main entrance for the time it takes to escort the customer inside the center.
- However, the car cannot remain parked on top of the hill.
- You do not need to register when you arrive at the laboratory.
- You may pick up and return sample containers without booking an appointment.
- If you want to pick up or return sample containers, knock on the laboratory door.

You can book a laboratory appointment online. When booking, you will receive instructions on cancelling or rescheduling your booked appointment. You always need a referral for laboratory tests.
