Our neurosurgery residents
HUS Neurosurgery is an internationally acclaimed, high-quality unit and largest training center for physicians specializing in neurosurgery in Finland. We offer a broad and high-quality training environment combining clinical expertise, research, and international co-operation.
Due to government regulations, all residents and staff members have to speak Finnish and Swedish. Thus, all applicants for permanent positions must meet language requirements. Furthermore, many of the residents have the PhD degree prior to the acceptance to the residency program, and continuous scientific activity is highly recommended.
