- If you do not have an appointment, register at the X-ray registration point on the P floor.
- If you have an appointment, register with the self-registration kiosk in the hospital’s main lobby.
- If you are coming for a mammogram, check in at the X-ray registration point on the P floor.
- We have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table.
- Please call us in advance if you need to use a patient lift.
Appointment booking instructions
- You can book an appointment for ultrasound examinations via Maisa or by calling the centralized appointment booking.
- Exceptions are urgent lower limb imaging, suspected blockages, and emergency referral examinations. For these, the appointment is booked directly from the X-ray unit.
- The appointment will be made for you, and you will be informed by letter.
- The examination can be ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT or MRI.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
