The unit is closed from Friday to Monday, April 18, 2025 - April 21, 2025, and on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
In the Jorvi Hospital, we perform clinical neurophysiology examinations with an appointment.
- You will be given an appointment for the examination and you will be informed of the appointment by letter.
- We perform examinations for customers from HUS area health centers and hospitals.
- We are located north of the construction site beside the emergency outpatient clinic.

- Clinical Neurophysiology (KNF) is located in two different buildings in the Jorvi Hospital area.
- Ward B is located in the building next to the emergency department.
- At KNF B, we perform EEGs, as well as sleep and alertness studies that require a silent environment.
- If you arrive by taxi or someone brings you in a car, ask them to drive to the Emergency Department’s entrance.
- Follow signs outside the emergency department.
- We perform ENMG examinations, polymsomnographies, and actigraphies at ward A.
- You do not need to register when you arrive.
- We will call you for the examination by name.
- Electroencephalography (EEG)
- Extensive sleep study (PSG, MSLT)
- Josler wakefulness test
- Maintenance of wakefulness test (MWT)
- Night-time polysomnography
- Sleep apnea study
