Ward U2 has a national responsibility for the treatment of demanding burn injuries.

Sakset ja pinsetit.

Our ward U2 has a total of 12 intensive care beds, four of which are specially equipped single rooms for burn injury patients in intensive care. In addition to burn injury patients, our ward also treats other patients in need of intensive and intermediate care.

In addition to the intensive care beds, our unit has eight hospital beds, rehabilitation facilities, and an outpatient clinic, which is open with an appointment only.

Visiting a patient

We kindly ask that visits to patients in intensive care remain short (15–30 minutes) and that the visits are agreed upon with the staff in advance.
The best time to visit patients on general wards is after 1 p.m.
Visits at night time are not encouraged.
