Malmi Hospital - Units

We treat patients who need short-term emergency care or monitoring.

Malmi Hospital has three internal medicine wards: 2, 4, and 5. Our patients come to the wards mainly from the emergency clinic, emergency ward, or as specialty transfers from other hospitals.

At the Malmi Hospital Emergency Department, we primarily serve the residents over the age of 16 from the eastern, south-eastern, north-eastern, and northern areas of Helsinki. In urgent cases, we provide treatment regardless of a person’s domicile.

In the Malmi Hospital X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations without an appointment and other imaging examinations by appointment.

In the Malmi Hospital laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments and queue numbers. We recommend booking an appointment.
