At the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit Avaruus at the New Children’s Hospital, we perform examinations to find out whether seizures suffered by a child or adolescent patient are epileptic, and if so, what kind of epilepsy they have.

Video-EEG

A Video EEG examination registers an electroencephalogram and a video image at the same time. Video EEG is often useful for planning pharmacotherapy for epilepsy. 

We treat both adult and child patients.
