The unit is closed from Friday to Monday, April 18, 2025 - April 21, 2025, and on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
In the Peijas Hospital X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations without an appointment and other examinations with an appointment.
- We perform examinations for customers from HUS area health centers and hospitals.
- Please note that emergency patients requiring urgent care will be served first, so other patients may need to wait.

- Our X-ray unit is located at the Peijas Hospital.
- Come in through the hospital’s main entrance and take the elevator to the 1st floor.
- On weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., register at the X-ray unit's office or at the self-registration kiosk.
- We have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table.
- Please call us in advance if you need to use a patient lift.
Appointment booking instructions
- You can make an appointment by calling (tel. 09 4718 0900) Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- You will be given an appointment for the examination and you will be informed of the appointment by letter.
- Examinations such as: ultrasound, X-ray, mechanical axis, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.

You can use our online services by signing in to the Maisa Portal. Once your treatment with us begins, you will receive information on the services you can access in Maisa. These include appointment booking and preliminary information forms, for example.
