The unit is closed from Friday to Monday, April 18, 2025 - April 21, 2025, and on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
On Thursday, April 17, 2025 and on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 the x-ray unit is open according to Friday's opening hours.
In the Department of Oncology X-ray unit, we perform imaging examinations with an appointment.
- The Oncology Outpatient Clinic will book you an appointment for the examination.
- You will be informed of the appointment by letter.

- Our X-ray unit is located at the Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Computed tomography, 3rd floor
- Register in the lobby on the ground floor at the self-registration kiosk or on the 8th floor at the X-ray unit's office with the department secretary.
Mammography and ultra sound, 8th floor
- Register on the 8th floor at the radiology office with the department secretary.
- We have access to a patient lift when needed, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table.
- If you need a patient lift, please contact us in advance so we will have it ready for you.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
