Meilahti Triangle Hospital - Units

Neurology Ward K4A at Triangle Hospital is a neurological ward where the testing of invasive treatments and the initiation of treatment of severe movement disorders have been centralized.

On the ward, we treat various lung diseases, such as patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer.

The treatment of liver and intestinal transplant patients and patients requiring demanding liver surgery have been nationally centralized on Ward 5A. In addition, we treat gastroenterological patients in a specific patient group. We also treat pancreatic and gastric surgery patients.

The Day Unit treats certain patient groups in various specialties, by appointment and according to preplanned treatment processes.

At Dialysis Unit Delta, we treat patients with acute renal failure, severe cases of poisoning, patients in need of plasma exchange therapy, and chronic renal failure.

In the Emergency Ward of Meilahti Triangle Hospital, we offer treatment for patients in need of short-term emergency care.

In our outpatient clinic at Meilahti Tower Hospital, we examine and treat patients in need of demanding examination and care in cardiology, cardiac surgery, or thoracic surgery.

Hematology Ward 7A is located at Meilahti Triangle Hospital. Patients referred for treatment on our ward are usually adult patients who have fallen ill suddenly. The most common diagnoses include various forms of acute leukemia, lymphomas, and myeloma.

On Hematology Ward 7B at Meilahti Triangle Hospital, we treat patients with malignant hematological diseases. Main diagnoses include acute and chronic leukemias, myeloma, lymphoma, and aplastic anemia.

The Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic at the Meilahti Triangle Hospital is an appointment clinic that accepts patients on referral only.
