New Children's Hospital - Units

The work of speech therapists at New Children's Hospital focuses on performing functional capacity evaluations for children and adolescents and guiding the adults in the child’s/adolescent’s life.

The Treatment Planning Unit takes care of appointment scheduling and treatment planning for children who will be arriving for surgery or treatment.

On Ward Avaruus at New Children's Hospital, we treat musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, neurological and neurosurgical patients, and patients with cleft lip and palate.

On Ward Taika, we treat patients with cancer or hematological diseases as well as stem cell transplantation patients, and kidney, liver and organ transplantation patients. 

On Ward Tähti, we treat patients with pediatric illnesses as well as surgical patients.

Ward Vuori provides treatment for pediatric surgical patients and demanding pediatric cardiac diseases.
